International Conference on Marine Bioresources and Biodiversity 2026
International Conference on Marine Bioresources and Biodiversity 2026
The International Conference on Marine Bioresources and Biodiversity 2026 (ICMBB 2026) is a one-day event hosted on the campus of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU) under the scientific leadership of Academician A. V. Adrianov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The conference promotes international cooperation in marine science and supports SMBU’s Master’s program Marine Biodiversity and Bioresources.
Invited lectures form the core of the scientific program, complemented by contributed talks and poster presentations. Key themes include symbiosis and species interactions, morphological and molecular diversity, and the ecology of coral reef and deep-sea communities. The program also addresses meiofauna, biological invasions, pollution, and the conservation and sustainable use of marine bioresources. Integrative approaches combining taxonomy, microscopy, molecular methods, and biodiversity databases connect species discovery with a broader understanding of marine ecosystem functioning and environmental change.
Bringing together participants from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Acadeny of Science, SMBU, and other institutions in China and abroad, ICMBB 2026 provides a forum for sharing research findings, exchanging methods, developing collaborations, and supporting students and early-career marine scientists.
