Pedagogical Traditions and Innovations in the History of Culture and Education

For the thirty-second consecutive time Lomonosov Moscow State University arranges the International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists “Lomonosov – 2025”. Since 1998, the year the Faculty of Educational Studies was established, it has been a constant participant in this country’s leading youth scientific forum. In the year marking the 270th anniversary of Moscow University and the 27th anniversary of the Faculty of Educational Studies, the last one is hosting a conference section called “Pedagogical Traditions and Innovations in the History of Culture and Education”. The professional development of pedagogical personnel is a strategic task for the Faculty of Educational Studies and whole modern Russia. Educational system is shaping the future at all its levels. The Lomonosov youth scientific forum becomes a tool for cultivating a scholarly mindset, civic identity and fostering social responsibility and patriotism among students.

We invite you to participate in the section
“Pedagogical Traditions and Innovations in the History of Culture and Education” at “Lomonosov – 2025” conference.

 

The Faculty’s section represents the following five subsections:

1. The value foundations of modern Russian education.

Experts / supervisors: Borisenkov V.P. (Doctor in Pedagogics (PhD), Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor, Head of the Department of History and Philosophy of Education), Krasnoshchekov N.A. (Candidate in History (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Systems Management).

2. Neural networks and generative artificial intelligence in education.

Experts / supervisors: Kuznetsov V.A. (Candidate in Biology (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Technologies), Romanova E.A. (Candidate in Psychology (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of History and Philosophy of Education), Metelkina J.S. (Candidate of Social Sciences (PhD), Senior Researcher).

3. Psychological aspects of education and inclusive education in modern conditions.

4. A teacher, scientist, and teacher during the Great Patriotic War was an example of courage and patriotism.

5. Teacher education: individualization and personification in the context of digital transformation of education.

Experts / supervisors: Ponomarev R.E. (Candidate in Pedagogics (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Technologies), Panova L.D. (Candidate in Pedagogics (PhD), Senior Lecturer at the Department of Educational Technologies).

 

Within the framework of the Faculty of Educational Studies’ section, it is expected to discuss such thematic areas of training modern pedagogical personnel as: a public-state approach to the formation and implementation of educational and educational policy in Russia at present stage; the formation of value attitudes of a modern teacher; the preservation of traditional values of national education and the identification of innovative features of its development; technologies for the formation of spiritual and cultural values as part of educational process; the formation of educational programs in educational organizations; the peculiarities of modern educational technologies for teaching foreign languages both at university and at school; technologies of interaction between educational organizations and families; problems of individualization and personalization in teacher education; the media image of the values of modern Russian education; the main threats to children’s safety in modern conditions and measures to prevent them. The Faculty’s section is to have a special focus on considering the theoretical and methodological approaches to the designing an inclusive educational process, the analysis of an inclusive educational environment as an integral pedagogical system. Particular attention will be paid to innovative practices in the modern education system, namely, related to the use of digital technologies in teaching schoolchildren and students, the tasks of optimizing learning through digital technologies, improving efficiency, psychological and social-psychological aspects of learning in a digital educational environment. The section’s work will be particularly noteworthy for its exploration of the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of AI technologies across educational settings.

The discussion of all these issues is especially relevant in the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, which is announced in the Russian Federation in 2025.
