The section "Teaching Russian Language and Fundamental Disciplines to Foreign Students" is held at the Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Moscow State University, which, being the successor to the preparatory faculty of Moscow University, is currently the oldest organization in Russia for teaching Russian as a foreign language and pre-university training of foreign students.

The section will discuss the following issues:

• Methods of teaching foreign students according to the program of preparatory faculties, including teaching Russian language and general education subjects.
• Analysis of the effectiveness of traditional and innovative methods of teaching Russian language, natural sciences and humanities in a foreign-language audience.
• Specifics of perception of Russian history, geography, culture, traditions and mentality by foreigners.
• Features of the methods of teaching general education subjects (mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, history, literature, social studies, etc.) to foreign students.
• Methodological support for the learning process: development and implementation of curricula, courses, textbooks and manuals, including information and communication technologies (ICT).
• Increasing motivation for foreign students to study, interaction with MSU faculties.

We invite bachelors, masters and postgraduate students interested in teaching general education subjects to foreign students as participants or listeners.
