On April 8-10, 2025, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) will hold the II All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "BioTech-2025" at the Graduate School of Biotechnology and Food Science.

The goal of the "BioTech-2025" is to integrate fundamental science, advanced technical achievements and technological trends in the field of biotechnology, present new concepts and projects, and improve communications between the scientific and student communities and enterprises in the biotechnology industry.

The program of the "BioTech-2025" includes a plenary session, where leading scientists and representatives of partner organizations operating in the field of industry biotechnology will speak; section meetings and a poster session in the following areas:

‒     Molecular biotechnology, genetic and metabolic engineering

‒     Methods of molecular diagnostics

‒     Technologies for cultivating producer microorganisms, tissue cultures and cells of plants and animals

‒     Agrobiotechnology

‒     Bionanotechnology

‒     Technologies of food systems

‒     Practical nutritionology

‒     Biotechnology of biologically active compounds

‒     Biotechnology of environmental protection.

Currently, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University is one of the flagship universities providing training for engineering personnel and scientific developments for Russia's technological leadership.
