About

“Shenzhen MSU-BIT University” regional scientific platform has been organized on the basis of a Joint university established by Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government.

The decision to establish a joint Russian-Chinese university was made on May 20, 2014 during the official visit of President of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China. On September 5, 2014, a Founding agreement was signed between MSU and BIT.

Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU) is a unique interstate scientific and educational center created on the basis of the leading universities of the two countries. The activities of the SMBU are aimed at strengthening international scientific and technical cooperation, expanding cultural ties between the countries, ensuring a high level of education in the most popular fields of knowledge and training young specialists necessary for the implementation of expanding economic projects of the two countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

To date, there are 10 faculties at the SMBU: Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Geography, Faculty of Materials Sciences, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Faculty of Management and Engineering, as well as scientific and educational centers: Center for Comparative Law, Center for Eurasian Studies, Center for Chinese Language, Center for Russian Language, Center for English Language. The teaching is conducted in Russian, English and Chinese.

Scientific directions of the regional platform " Shenzhen MSU-BIT University":

- computational mathematics and cybernetics;

- political science and area studies.

 

The work of the site takes place in the following sections:

- Russian language (subsection No. 1 "Modern Russian language", subsection No. 2 "Russian Literature");

- "Russian language and Culture" (subsection No. 1 "Language, literature, culture", subsection No. 2 "Economics", subsection No. 3 "Management", subsection No. 4 "Mathematics. Computer Science", subsection No. 5 "Biology. Ecology", subsection No. 6 "Physics. Chemistry. Materials Science");

- "Biology" (subsection No. 1 "Nanobiotechnology", subsection No. 2 "Biodiversity and bioresources", subsection No. 3 "Ecology");

- "Geography. Environmental science";

- "Fundamental Materials Science and nanomaterials";

- "Economics and Business";

- "Modern management technologies";

- "Interaction of arts in the global cultural space";

- "Fundamental aspects of chemistry";

- "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science";

- "Russia and China: a dialogue of cultures". 

Date of the conference: from April 11 to April 25, 2025.

Applications are accepted until March 15, 2025.

The Conference welcomes students (specialists, bachelors and masters), postgraduate students and young scientists from any country of the world under the age of 35 – including students, postgraduates and staff of universities and academic institutions from Russia and abroad.
 
A young scientist is considered an applicant, a teacher without a degree, a teacher and a senior lecturer. Candidates of sciences under the age of 35 may participate, as a rule, within the framework of separate subsections, if this is provided for by the decision of the organizing committee of the relevant section. Professors and doctors of sciences are not allowed to participate in the conference, even if they are under 36 years old.
 
If the paper is co-authored, each of the co-authors must meet the above requirements for conference participants. Co-authorship with the supervisor is not allowed, but he can be thanked in a note.
 
Official languages of the Conference are Russian and English.
 
The Conference will be held in an online and offline format (at the discretion of the Organizing Committee of the section).
 
Those wishing to participate in the SMBU Lomonosov Conference should submit their proposal/abstract to the organizing committee STRICKTLY through the electronic registration system before 15 of March 2025 to be accepted. Submit your proposal/abstract electronically via the "Lomonosov" Scientific and Educational Portal (lomonosov-msu.ru).

 
Applications received by mail or via e-mail (e-mail) are not considered and are not registered.
The preliminary selection of the conference participants, as well as the identification of the best reports of the conference itself, is carried out by the expert council (jury) of the sections. The invitation of the selected participants is carried out by the organizing committee on the recommendation of expert councils.
 
Diplomas for the best reports and certificates of participants will be generated automatically.
